Leg Pain, Numbness and Tingling
This list of symptoms is very common and can range from debilitating to just a mild annoyance. Most often the cause is brought about because of pressure on the nerves in the lumbar spine (low back). The pressure causing this type of symptoms range from joint fixation, vertebral misalignment, to herniated disc. If the herniated disc is severe enough an MRI may be ordered to have a better look at it. The good news is Chiropractic treatments are very effective in treating all but the worst case scenarios. If the condition does not respond properly a referral to a back surgeon may be required before Chiropractic rehab can be reinitiated. The most important thing to be aware of is early detection, the sooner a problem is detected the better the long term outcome will be. If you’re experiencing low back stiffness, soreness, spasms, or unexplained leg sensations you should seek advice, these may well be early warning signs that your low back is not functioning properly. Once again putting off treatment can lead to a less than desirable out come.
